Xiyuan Poetry Society participated in the "Inheritance and Innovation" reading literacy improvement exchange seminar and "Enjoy the land" exhibition activity

On October 12, 2018, the teachers, students and parents of the Xiyuan Poetry Club of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University went to Daoxianghu Intangible Cultural Heritage Science City in Haidian District to participate in the "Inheritance and Innovation" reading literacy improvement exchange seminar sponsored by the Committee of the Shangdi School District, the Management center of the Shangdi School District and the Youth Working Committee of the Shangdi School District。Xiyuan Poetry Club sang "The Book of Songs · Qin Feng · The Reed", showing the achievements of our school's moral education activities of "Enjoying the land"。

In the activity, the "red-necked readers" of Tsinghua Affiliated Primary School, Peking University Affiliated Primary School, Shangdi Experimental Primary School, Beida Resources School, Tsinghua Affiliated High School and other schools in the school district read poetry and classics together on the platform set up by the school district, respectively in the form of drama, recitation, chorus and other forms of reading achievements。

With the singing of "Book of Songs · Qin Feng · The Reed", the Poetry Club of the West Garden of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University showed the classic ancient sounds and rhyming, showed the characteristics of the reading activities of the High School attached to Tsinghua University, and conveyed the students' unique understanding of the poetry。The Book of Songs · Qin Feng · The Reeds is a work carefully polished by teachers and students of Xiyuan Poetry Club。In the usual community learning, the students have understood the emotions and artistic conception contained in the words, and felt the quiet and beautiful tunes。In this performance, the members sang in the moving guzheng accompaniment, a sound, a word, every gesture and every move are interpreting the meaningful and long Chinese classical literature。While touching every audience, the students also gained a growth in their own hearts。

After the performance session, LAN Tianye, a famous drama artist and a famous director and actor of Beijing People's Art Theater, Cao Wenxuan, a famous children's literature writer and professor of Peking University, and Tang Ye, a famous director of Beijing People's Art Theater, met with the young journalists face to face and shared their understanding of reading and writing。 "If reading is the bow and writing is the arrow, how far the arrow shoots depends on the bow.。This is the classic words of teacher Cao Wenxuan, so that the students of the West Garden Poetry Club are full of harvest。
